A quick note about the order of the songs -- I intend my playlists to act as soundtracks, converging with the plot in a linear manner. From the first song, Ordinary Human, Mare is still the Read she thinks she has been her entire life. Songs like Sweet Dreams are meant to symbolize Mare becoming Mareena, and Only You is what I imaging Cal teaching Mare to dance to, or Lost It All when Mare visits her family again. By Yellow Flicker Beat, Mare has shed multiple identities and is becoming more of herself than she knew to be before, and as she faces death and all those who have betrayed her and those she has betrayed, she is new and transformed and still strong in the face of destruction. Please give me any feedback you would like, I hope you enjoy!!

  1. This is so cool! I recently read, loved, and reviewed Red Queen. I haven't posted my review yet, but would you mind if I featured and linked your post/playlist in my review? I always wanted to make book featured playlists, but can never find the right songs...

    1. I'm so glad you like it! I would be more than happy to let you feature me, thank you so much!

  2. This is so AWESOME! I'm going to find and make this playlist on Spotify today and listen to it! I'm not good at making matching book playlists but I am good at relating one or two songs to a book. I love this!

    1. So glad you enjoy it! If you would like, you can click the link above the track list that says "listen" and it will take you to the 8tracks page where I posted the playlist.
