Hi everyone!

My name is Giselle, but many of my friends call me Gee ! I'm currently in my senior year as a creative writing major at a performing arts high school. My whole life I have had a passion for words, and when I started middle school I knew I wanted to not only read stories but create them as well. I now mostly focus on poetry, and my other hobbies include photography, cooking and baking, watching movies, and adding to my ever-growing makeup collection.

I love to read because it's a transformative experience, I can be anybody I want to be when I read. It's my way of travelling the world, time, and space without ever leaving my bedroom. I started this blog as a way for me to practice reviewing books and work on my design and publishing skills, as that's the career field I hope to study in college and go into!

My favorite genres to read are YA paranormal, fantasy, dystopian, thriller, sci-fi, and historical fiction, and I'll enjoy a contemporary or realistic fiction novel here and there. Generally, I'll give just about anything a shot, but my favorites have always been the strange, the unexplained, and the fantastical.
